GirlGoTravel: 21st Female Solo Traveler Feature

Dannielle went on a two week trip to Ecuador with Purposeful Nomad, a small group travel company for purpose-driven women. She went alone but shopped at local markets and went horseback riding with a small group of women. As long as you grow, there's no one way to travel solo.

Surrounded by four volcanos and open fields. I felt like I was living in a painting.

Such an incredible hike around Lake Cuicocha. We reached a solid 10,000ft in the pouring rain but it was well worth every moment. Definitely a highlight of the trip.

My host family and I in Cotacachi. I basically played babysitter the whole time. In fact, I have a doll tied to my back. Such an awesome experience.

Visiting Guayasamin’s home-turned-museum in Quito was definitely another highlight of the trip. His collection and body of work was the most stunning display I ever laid my eyes upon. I could also live here.
